I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter celebration. We enjoyed a very quiet, low-key day with my mom and Terry, as we had only been home from our Florida trip for a little less than 24 hours. Yet, the Easter Bunny still managed to deliver quite the basket of goodies for each of our little cherubs!
Over the years, the Easter Bunny has gained a great deal of wisdom and has begun to leave an insurance policy of sorts, to ensure that all eggs are found and accounted for!
As I mentioned, we didn't get home from our trip until late Saturday afternoon. Still, Michael felt that coloring Easter eggs was a vital holiday tradition that we must uphold, so we did....on Easter morning. While the Easter Bunny was not able to hide the hand-dyed Easter eggs, we were able to enjoy them as a tasty side dish to our lovely ham dinner!
Once dinner was over, Stephen promptly high-tailed it over to his buddy Chase's house. Since they had not seen each other for an entire week, each sweet boy was going through some major withdrawal! Matthew, of course, was still in egg seeking mode, so Granny and I hid them for him in the backyard.
Sadie loved having us back home and wasn't letting any of us out of her sight, not to mention that she loved soaking up some of the wonderful sunshine that we were blessed with throughout the day!
